THE COMMANDOS PERCU

Rythme Feu, the new era of pyrotechnic performance, where sound and spark become one : music is watched and fire is listened. Les Commandos Percu, with over 30 years of mastery of the elements, question our primal relationship with fire. Why did we seek to tame it? Long before we wanted to use it for heat or food, perhaps we were fascinated by its light, by the dance of shadows it casts, by the music of its combustion.

Here, fire takes center stage, not as a tool or a danger, but as an object of adoration and contemplation. A fundamental, ancestral, almost sacred element, it embodies both destruction and comforting warmth, danger and protection, desolation and consolation… Fire attracts, brings people together, unites them around the hearth. But a single breath, a single excess, is enough for it to escape, overflow, frighten. It is indeed its unifying magic that is at stake.

In this show, fire is a living presence, an organic metronome, a score in perpetual transformation. Crackling becomes percussion, explosions become accents, and flames a force that pulses and breathes. Sparks turn into rhythmic and musical language, a sonic being with which the musicians engage in a true exchange. Through this dialogue, Rythme Feu explores the encounter between the wild rhythm of matter in fusion and our own inner cadences.

Combustion then becomes a performer in its own right. The dramaturgy brings together fire, rhythm, musicians, and audience in a single sensory experience. All take part in the creation of a collective magic, intense and ephemeral.
