Energy in motion
Since a decade the company traverses festivals all over the world with its innovative percussion and its specific know-how of firework.
The fusion between the musical element and the fire is the main engine of this dynamics. It invents a language that is new and ancestral at the same time, it has the characteristic to traverse all cultures and all genres.
To this duality a third engine is added, mobility, or the art of surprise – this is the origin of the company’s name – that leads the musicians-pyrotechnists to more daring and original scenes.
Five musicians, two pyrotechnists and one general director, all intermittent the spectacle, form the hard core of the company that, since 2001, is produced and managed by the association Big Drum.
The spectacles of Les Commandos Percu are mainly part of the field street art, a few times on music festivals and regularly on private events.
Certain special creations are preceded by initiation internships and training bringing along very different groups of people.
The moved public is broad and intimate, the usual audience consists of several thousands of spectators, it can reach 30 000 people (Ostend August 2004).
